Megan Conway became Travel Portland’s President and CEO in January 2025. In this role, she works in partnership with the Board of Directors and the Executive Team to ensure that the organization’s structure and priorities are geared toward economic success for Portland’s hospitality sector.
Hired for this role following a national search in 2024, Conway is no stranger to the destination or the organization, having served on Travel Portland’s executive team as Chief Strategy Officer since 2020. Conway joined Travel Portland in 2010 as Vice
President of Communications and PR, before being promoted to the leadership team in 2017.
Conway’s involvement in local, regional, and national associations and initiatives makes her an influential ambassador for Travel Portland both locally and nationally. Her current roles include board seats with the U.S. Travel Association, the executive committee for Sport
Oregon, and serving as an ex officio representative with the Portland Metro Chamber. She is also a founding member of the Portland chapter of Women in Sports and Events (WISE).
Additional career highlights include several years at Adidas overseeing public relations for major sporting events, including the 2008 Summer Olympics, the Olympic Track & Field Trials, and the 2010 World Cup.
