Iliana Rodríguez Cavazos is Corporate Director of Sustainability and Institutional Dialogue at Grupo Xcaret, where since 2015 she has led the sustainable tourism strategy that distinguishes the company internationally. Under her leadership, Grupo Xcaret has consolidated its "Xostenibilidad" model, based on the axes People, Planet and Prosperity, promoting pioneering actions such as the elimination of single-use plastics and the revaluation of more than 80% of its waste.
In March 2025, Iliana was appointed Chair of IAAPA's Sustainability Committee for Latin America and the Caribbean, becoming the first Mexican to hold this position within the attractions industry's leading global association.
Her vision and commitment to responsible development have positioned Grupo Xcaret as a world reference in sustainable tourism, standing out for its focus on environmental conservation, culture and community well-being. Iliana actively participates in international forums, sharing the Mexican experience of sustainability in spaces such as the World Tourism Organization and APEC.
