WMF arrives in Chile, March 18-20, 2024.
Chile is a country of contrasts, with the driest desert in the world in the north and eternal glaciers in the south. Its elongated and narrow geography gives it a great diversity of climates, landscapes and cultures, from the Andean highlands to Patagonia. It is also a world-class tourist destination, offering everything from sporting adventures in nature to cosmopolitan cities and cultural heritage. Chile is known for its geographic diversity that includes the Andes Mountains, Patagonia and Easter Island.

Metropolitan Santiago is a world-class meeting center located in the Vitacura district, one of the safest areas of the capital, which makes it ideal for holding all types of events: corporate, congresses, fairs and social gatherings. With quick and direct access to the main highways and the international airport, it is close to business centers, major hotels and shopping malls.
Since its construction in 1993, Metropolitan Santiago has hosted more than 30,000 events, including the APEC Business Summit, Enade, among others. It has hosted exhibitions such as Hyvolution, Expo Hospital and Trans-Port. It has hosted congresses on Neurology, Orthodontics, Orthopedics, Traumatology, Radiology, CAU and will soon host the WFHSS. It has also hosted renowned international gastronomic competitions such as Bocuse d'Or. During 2023, Metropolitan Santiago held more than 200 events and received more than 200,000 people. Metropolitan also stands out for its infrastructure, where the works of the Chilean artist and sculptor Federico Assler (National Art Award 2009) welcome the convention center and can also be seen in the Sculpture Courtyard. His works are a sample of the artistic trajectory of Assler, who has dedicated 40 years of his career to sculpture with his renowned concrete technique in public spaces.
