WMF is a strategic platform designed to foster meaningful business connections, drive economic development, showcase a destination’s cultural identity, and leave a positive legacy in the community.

For more than 13 years, World Meetings Forum has evolved from an event organizer into an ecosystem that designs experiences where business, culture, community, and purpose converge.

Our methodology is based on four fundamental pillars:

Every destination has a unique story that deserves to be told
WMF integrates history, cuisine, traditions, art, heritage, and local identity into the participants' experience, allowing them to get to know the destination beyond its venues and hotels.
Relationships are the driving force behind the meetings industry
Through a careful selection of hosted buyers, suppliers, destinations, and industry leaders, WMF fosters high-value interactions designed to build lasting relationships and create business opportunities.
Results make a difference and matter
Each component of the program is designed to facilitate high-quality meetings, strategic discussions, business partnerships, and future business opportunities.
Events should have a positive impact
Through the Together A World Meetings Forum Foundation and our commitment to inclusion, accessibility, sustainability, and social responsibility, each edition aims to leave a positive impact on the host community.

OUR TEAM

RAFA HERNÁNDEZ

For him, the best time to create ideas is 5:30 AM running and preferably outdoors. Rafa always has to be on the move, so he is constantly involved in different activities: traveling, riding a motorcycle, running a half marathon, diving with sharks or playing the drums. But none of these activities distract him from his greatest passion, his family (consisting of Tampi, Max, Mateo and Henry). He is celebrating 20 years of career in Meeting Tourism. He started with a web portal for Virtual Exhibitions, and went on to create the publications that today are part of the Latinamerica Meetings portfolio, the World Meetings Forum and his social contribution to the industry through the World Meetings Forum Foundation. Totally dedicated to contribute and help at all times, always trying to add creative and innovative ideas that benefit everyone.

LETY ALMANZA

I love traveling, discovering new places, having interesting conversations, and taking on challenges that seem complicated. I like to organize, find solutions, and, above all, make things happen.
But I also really enjoy the simple things in life: spending time with friends, exercising, walking, meditating, and savoring those moments that help put everything into perspective.
Curious by nature, I’m always looking for something new to learn, discover, or solve.
