
Young Austrian Chef Michael Gollenz leads the kitchen at Alfred Keller, Alhambra's signature fine dining restaurant. Gollenz took over as Alfred Keller's Executive Chef in 2021 under the mentorship of 2* Michelin Chef Christian Kuchler. He earned the restaurant's first Michelin star soon after.
Chef Gollenz's cuisine is founded on classic French cooking techniques, elevated with flavors from around the world. He's worked alongside Michelin masters such as Christian Scharrer and Stefan Heilemann and at renowned restaurants including Ecco St. Moritz, Widder Restaurant in Zurich, and Restaurant Aphrodite at Hotel Giardino in Ascona. Gollenz earned Alfred Keller a Michelin star in 2021 and 16.5 Gault&Millau points. He was awarded the Gault&Millau Croatia Trophy 'Great Chef of Tomorrow' in 2022.
