Cesar Fragozo is Chief of Unit for Sectorial Development at ProMexico, an agency of the Ministry of Economy of the Mexican Government promoting exports and encouraging foreign direct investment into Mexico as well as the internationalization of Mexican business across the globe.
Prior to his current role, as Minister for Asia, Cesar has overseen a dozen of ProMexico’s Asian and the Middle East representative offices in China, Korea, Japan, India, Singapore, Qatar and the U.A.E., among others. In addition, Cesar´s previous roles abroad include Trade and Investment Commissioner in Taiwan and Germany promoting in the latter, European investment into Mexico.
Cesar began his career in finance and corporate banking within Mexico´s most salient banks. Cesar was educated in Mexico, Germany and the United Kingdom from where he obtained an MSc in International Securities Investment from University of Reading, England.
